The King in Yellow
Over the last several years, one thing has become increasingly clear. Our political system does not function the way we have been told. Rulers dictate from the shadows and puppets parade their scripts for the populace to follow. But among the shadow hegemons there is one great wizard for which the darkest strings tie and he resides right in the heartland.
Nestled deep in the heart of Franklin county lies a sprawling compound inaccessible from main roads and patrolled by armed guards, rooftop snipers and trained dobermann. It is a compound that is described by witnesses as having underground tunnels with escape routes and is arguably more heavily fortified and protected than the nation’s capital. You would be wrong to assume that this is the residence of a diplomat or the nation’s president. Rather this is the residence of Victoria Secret’s underwear capitalist Leslie Wexner, a man with insidious ties to some of the darkest industries in the nation and influence far exceeding his notoriety.
Despite his carefully crafted facade, Wexner is a self-described man haunted by ‘dybbuk’, or demons. In Jewish culture, a dybbuk is a malicious demonic entity that haunts or torments its host, in this case, filling Wexner with sensations of pins and needles nearly every morning. He describes this dybbuk as following him everywhere and constantly driving him further to consume more, absorbing massive corporations and consolidating power. It’s an entity that, he claims, looks exactly like him.
It’s unclear where this demonic torment started for Wexner, but speculation might want to place it at the beginning of his burgeoning empire with the unsolved murder of attorney Arthur Shapiro.
In 1985, Lawyer Arthur Shapiro, of Schwartz, Shapiro, Kelm & Warren, was having lunch in his car when an unknown assailant walked up to his vehicle and began firing at him. Shapiro fled from the vehicle on foot and made it to a nearby residence where he frantically called for help before he was shot in the head in a mafia style hit. Shapiro was under investigation at the time by the federal government for allegations of creating tax shelters in ‘shady’ investment deals with nightclubs and failure to file tax returns. Shapiro’s murder came the day before he was due to testify before a grand jury, where he might have been pressured to speak on some of his known associates.
Due to the nature of the murder, the Organized Crime Bureau in Columbus launched an investigation. The report details many speculative points, including known associates that had clear motive to carry out a mob-style hit on Shapiro. The report outlined the murder seemed eerily familiar to a La Cosa Nostra style hit and incorporated various potential affiliates surrounding the Major Chord Jazz Club, in which Jerry Hammond was a principal investor as well as The Limited, Wexner’s brand; Walsh Trucking Company; the re-named Schwartz, Kelm, Warren and Rubenstein law firm; Omni Oil Company; the Edward DeBartolo Company of Youngstown, Ohio; and local developer John W. Kessler. Edward DeBartolo, whom Wexner had close business relationships with, also had close ties to the Genovese/LaRocca Crime family. According to the report, all of these entities shared registered office space in 37th floor of the Huntington Center and Shapiro was the money handler for all of them. It was additionally noted that City Council President Jerry Hammond was spending far outside his means as a council president. By purchasing an apartment at Waterford Tower, Hammond was spending money he couldn’t possibly be earning through his day job. It was hypothesized that investment in council member Jerry Hammond’s Major Chord Jazz Club by Wexner and associates was a way to launder money through to corrupt politician to influence zoning laws for “Wexley” holdings, a development company owned by Wexner and Kessler. With Shapiro being the centerpiece of such knowledge and the lynchpin of it’s continued success, his silence before a potential testimony would be imperative.
Before the report could see the light of day, insiders within the Columbus Police Department attempted to destroy it. Despite attempts to sweep the murder away, the report accidently resurfaced, buried within an unrelated FOIA request. While the murder remains unsolved to this day, the newly resurfaced report indicates that whoever was responsible was someone who (a) knew Shapiro and had some personal/professional contact with him; (b) would benefit from his death or from ensuring his silence; (c) had close contact with LCN [i.e.,La Cosa Nostra: the Mafia, organized crime] figures or trusted LCN associates; and (d) had the personal financial resources to afford the cost of the contract (“hit”). Whoever was ultimately responsible would have to be someone with not only connections to organized crime, but the reach and influence to destroy evidence within the police department itself. Of which, there are few possible suspects not named Wexner.
It was around this time, in 1987, when Wexner hired an up and coming ‘financial advisor’ known as Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein quickly became Wexner’s eyes and ears within his vast holdings and network of cartels, managing the majority of Wexner’s assets at an increasing rate leading into 1990. It was around this time that Epstein began what is arguably one of the more lucrative investment practices around; blackmail.
While official reports indicate that Jeffrey Epstein met his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, sometime in the early 1990’s, said reports often omit the close ties Maxwell and Epstein had to Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell, was a well-known Israeli spy who pioneered the use of ‘honeypot’ operations to blackmail politicians in British parliament. According to victims of his daughter, Ghislaine, and Epstein, Jeffrey was paired with Ghislaine to protect her from entities within Mossad who pushed her father off of his boat, murdering him. While Robert’s death was labeled a suicide officially, it is clear Ghislaine did not believe it. For years their operation remained relatively outside the public eye until victims like Maria Farmer were able to escape their grasp and speak out.
In the extended interviews with journalist Whitney Webb, Farmer outlines a harrowing experience of how she, like many other victims of their trafficking network, became entangled in the web spun by Wexner and his associates. Beginning in New York as a film and screen art student and getting whisked away to the Wexner estate in Ohio with promises of grander opportunities from elitist billionaires. She soon found herself locked in a veritable fortress of evil, where every room was locked down and monitored with pinhole sized cameras. Throughout her ordeal at the Wexner estate, for which she was trapped in, she endured physical and mental abuse, sexual assault and fought actively against the sinister plots of her captures to attempt to traffic her younger sister into their ‘business’.
According to Farmer, part of the Maxwell honeypot operation now involved linking underage girls with politicians and billionaires as blackmail for foreign nations like Israel or organized crime interests. During her years of servitude to the Wexner syndicate, she encountered British royalty and American political dynasties like the Clintons and Trumps.
Upon her escape in 1996, Farmer reported her ordeal, including her and her sisters sexual assault to the FBI, even reporting her knowledge of Wexner’s presence in the home during her assault and his knowledge of Epstein’s operations. According to Farmer, the FBI was entirely uninterested in the report and refused to take forensic evidence she had for any potential investigation. It wasn’t until 2002 that the FBI resurfaced with minimal interest after Farmer had begun speaking to the press at Vanity Fair. In 2006 the FBI finally made an arrest against Epstein, completely ignoring Wexner as a potential associate. According to the lead prosecutor at that time, Alexander Acosta, the prosecution was ordered to drop the case as Epstein “belonged to intelligence.”
From that point on, Epstein flew on planes and helicopters registered with DynCorp, a US private military contractor. The registered aircraft, N474AW, was supposed to be used for "counter-insurgency" and "counter-narcotics" operations in Larandia, Colombia. Given the nature of the Wexner operations in child trafficking, it is unlikely he suddenly turned over a new leaf after his initial arrest and 2008 plea deal. It is more likely U.S. intelligence took over the honeypot operations Epstein and Maxwell were running for Mossad.
To this day, despite Epstein’s silence by murder in federal custody and Maxwell’s alleged arrest, Wexner lives relatively comfortably in his fortified compound, outside of the reach of any form of justice. His presence however is felt everywhere throughout the state. Ohio ranks fifth nationally in child trafficking, breaking down to around four child victims per 100,000. It is not a coincidence that the state is home to, as Epstein victim Maria Farmer said, “the head of the snake,” Les Wexner.
It may also not be a coincidence that while the entire state was wrestling over an amendment allegedly focused on abortion, most were unaware that the vagueness of the language actually might have constitutionally enshrined pedophilia as a “reproductive right.” While local outlets have covered the vagueness of the language from Issue 1, omitting things like age and gender or even leaving interpretation of what ‘reproductive rights’ entail entirely open to interpretation, most may not be aware that across the state the language on the ballot itself was intentionally misleading from the amendment on paper. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose seemed to be playing fast and loose with trying to explain the newly enshrined amendment by wording the ballot with gendered and aged language to convince voters the amendment only applied to abortion rights for adult women.
If we know anything about how the law works, it is that interpretation of it is in the eye of the beholder, or rather the ruler with the gavel and who funds their appointment or election. While stating that “a woman has the right to pursue an abortion” is technically covered in the statement “the government shall make no law or take no action infringing on an individual's reproductive right,” that is absolutely not all of what is encompassed or could be interpreted by that statement. While a woman is an “individual” by definition, so to is a child. While “abortion” might be covered under interpretation of a “reproductive right” so to might be having sex in general, or changing sex by removal of reproductive parts.
It should come as no surprise that Wexner is one of the leading financial contributors to politicians throughout the state, including Frank LaRose and Governor Mike DeWine. And while much could be said about the alleged child trafficking in the state through fraudulent adoption agencies previously operating out of Strongsville, or the Becky DeWine school in Haiti which helped facilitate some of these adoptions, one cannot rid a garden of snakes by focusing on the tails.
Ohio is home to some amazing people and places. The midwestern charm which gives this state its neighborly feel is defined by the nature of its residents. By and large, people want to do good and it is because of this that our politicians want so desperately to be perceived as good. The moment our eyes are opened to the dark void that is enveloping us is the minute we collectively realize we have passed the point of needed action. Within our home is a powerful snake slowly constricting around our necks from a vast statewide and possibly international criminal enterprise involving murder, child trafficking, racketeering and more. Before we can remove this python from our throats, we must be willing to acknowledge its head and for those who have escaped the void with their lives and minds intact, they say that head is Les Wexner.
